You cannot just type it into google because google reformats it to this: (48 / 2) * (9 + 3) when it is really 48/2(9+3), BIG difference.

Let me explain…

48÷2(9+3)
equals
48÷2(12)

We all agree on this.
Now this is where you get mixed up…

1.48÷2×12 = 288

BUT!!!

2.48÷2(12) = 2

1.In this case the 12 is not in parentheses, so you just go from left to right since its multiplication and division…

2.Since the 12 is in parentheses you multiply 2 and 12 FIRST because of the distributive property( http://www.freemathhelp.com/distributive-property.html ) which is where you multiply everything inside the parentheses by the number outside the parentheses (like 2(x+y) equals 2x+2y) therefore you would have to get:

48÷24 = 2

Basically

48÷2×12 ≠ 48÷2(12)

That is how we get the answer 2

The game involves using your hand-eye coordination to tap certain boxes. The boxes randomly appear on the screen either being red, blue, or gold. The objective is to tap blue and gold boxes, if you tap a red box you loose 3 points. When you tap a blue box you gain 1 point and if you tap a gold box you gain 3 points! The game has 2 modes: offline and online. On offline mode, you see how many points you can rack up in 30 seconds. Online play is where the red boxes are the other person’s boxes, using the same concept of offline mode, you try to see how many points you can rack up in 30 seconds. Online play also has voice chat, one of the coolest features in Game Center.
